Keeping the Momentum: The Distinguished Pearls Foundation, Inc. is awarded a 2nd Grant - May 5, 2026

Prince George’s County, MD — The Distinguished Pearls Foundation, Inc. is proud to announce the receipt of a $2,500 Special Appropriation Grant from the Prince George's County Council for District 6, under the leadership of Councilwoman Danielle Hunter. This investment is a reflection of a shared commitment to strengthening communities and expanding access to critical resources for residents across District 6.


The grant will support the Foundation’s ongoing social action efforts to address food and basic necessity insecurities for underserved families in District 6. District 6 constituent areas include: City of District Heights, Forestville, Kettering, Largo, Mitchellville and the unincorporated areas of Bowie, Capitol Heights and Upper Marlboro. Through strategic programming and partnerships, the Foundation continues to serve as a catalyst for opportunity, empowerment, and sustainable impact.
