The Distinguished Pearls Foundation (DPF) was established on October 25, 2018, as the charitable and philanthropic arm of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Tau Delta Zeta Chapter, with a goal to strengthen communities through service, outreach, and educational advancement in Prince George’s County and surrounding areas.
On March 19, 2019, the Foundation was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in the State of Maryland to provide a sustainable structure for the Chapter’s growing community service initiatives and to expand access to funding and partnerships that support long-term impact.
Since its inception, the Foundation has remained steadfast in its mission to improve the quality of life for individuals and families through community outreach. Outreach has included education, economic empowerment, and holistic community engagement.
DPF’s work is deeply rooted in the legacy and principles of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, an organization known for its commitment to Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood. In partnership with Tau Delta Zeta Chapter, DPF has become a trusted community resource and advocate for equity, wellness, and opportunity throughout northern Prince George’s County.
The Foundation and Chapter have partnered with civic leaders, faith-based organizations, local schools, and service providers to implement initiatives that meet critical needs and uplift vulnerable populations.
Together, we have provided annual scholarships to deserving students, distributed food and clothing to hundreds of families, organized health fairs and education programs, and led awareness campaigns addressing domestic violence, maternal health, and financial literacy. These collaborative efforts demonstrate a long-standing commitment to being “Community-Conscious, Action-Oriented".
