Prince George’s County, MD — The Distinguished Pearls Foundation, Inc. is proud to announce the receipt of a $4,000 Special Appropriation Grant from the Prince George's County Council for District 1, under the leadership of Thomas Dernoga. This investment is a reflection of a shared commitment to strengthening communities and expanding access to critical resources for residents across District 1.

The grant will support the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to provide educational enrichment, youth development programming, and food insecurity initiatives that meet the needs of underserved families in District 1. District 1 constituent areas include: Adelphi, Beltsville, Calverton, North College Park, Laurel, Montpelier, South Laurel, West Laurel and Vansville. Through strategic programming and partnerships, the Foundation continues to serve as a catalyst for opportunity, empowerment, and sustainable impact.
