The Distinguished Pearls Foundation in partnership with Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Tau Delta Zeta chapter awarded the $500 Lynette Thomas book scholarship to Malcolm Doster, Jr.; and three Power of the Written Word scholarships to:
- 3rd place, Aaliyah R. Beckles, $750
- 2nd place, Camara A. Kelly, $1,000
- 1st place Korin D. Murray, $1,500
